  • Processes, systems and tools supporting Recognition of Prior Learning Survey: A report that details the outcomes of research commissioned by the Australian Flexible Learning Framework’s E-standards for Training project aimed at documenting current Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) and Recognition of Current Competency (RCC) systems and tools in use throughout the Australian training system. The project was managed by eWorks.
  • Rights Management and the Carrick Institute Exchange: An investigation into the rights management environment in Australian higher education and its relationship to the purpose of the Carrick Exchange. The report was commissioned by limited and prepared in association with Dennis Macnamara of Unlocking Learning.
  • The e-Framework for Education & Research: An International project focused on developing a service-oriented approach to systems integration within Higher Education. From late 2005 to July 2007 Jon Mason performed the role of International Editor. 

  • A Handbook of Guidelines for Metadata Usage for Australian and New Zealand Education and Training: Editorial services for Standards Australia. The Handbook (HB 256:2007) is available for free download (PDF) or for purchase as hardcopy from Standards Australia. 

  • Developing e-Portfolios for VET – Policy Issues and Interoperability:
    A discussion paper prepared for the Australian Flexible Learning Framework. 

  • Federated Resource Discovery: An architectural review and set of recommendations conducted in collaboration with Knowledge Integration in the UK for the British Educational Communications Technology Agency (Becta).
